A record of how Auckland's trains actually ran.

The timetable and the live train feed are both public. We follow the feed through the day and write down what happened at each stop. The feed forgets a stop the moment the train is past it. We don't.

Four things, for the whole network, one line, or a single station: punctuality, reliability, headway and journey time. Every stop counts, not just the two ends of the run. How we measure has the detail.

Nothing gets edited after it's written down, so a figure from last March still means what it meant last March. It also means we have both sides of the City Rail Link opening on 13 September 2026, kept apart and never averaged together.

We count every stop, and we count it the same way every day. Figures published elsewhere use different rules, so they won't always line up with these.
